Malala was almost silenced by a bullet to her head by the Taliban. She is an advocate for women. She was speaking about women receiving an education so that they might live their lives following their dreams. After she was gunned down, she survived, and said that bullet only made her more determined to get her message out. The bullet that tried to silence her only made her message louder and stronger. She received the Pulitzer peace prize at the age of 17. She’s now heard all over the world.
Sisters heed Malala’s call. Stanby and support women. Don’t listen to the patriarchal societies that try to suffocate you. That do suffocate. Follow your dreams for you are the nurturers of this planet. We need each other.Malala said,” after I was shot I had two options, one was to remain silent and be killed and the second was to speak up and be killed. I chose to SPEAK UP”
